With our many years of experience and advice, together we will have an initial chat, and then create drawings with a fixed price quotation of your dream cabin, in turn key condition, ready to move in! Extensions
We at Irish Wood Style have been supplying and fitting express extensions since 2000. Each one is different and with our expert advice and experience, we would love to help you with your project. Extensions with uses such as extra bedrooms, kitchens, dining rooms, utility rooms, sun rooms to name but a few. All the finishes are available from timber to plaster. So matching your existing home is key, and when complete, it will look as its always been part of the building. The unit is cut and built on site, all happening without breaking into the existing house. When its built and decorated in as much as possible, then the breakthrough happens with minimum fuss. Unlike other companies, we do not use 'fit together flat pack kit's that you will see in almost every other company's web site. Ours are hand built to the size and spec you want, are warm, dry, and comfortable, but most importantly perfect for year round use. We design and build it, to the space you have available, and what your requirements are. Can you build to fit any shape or size?
Due to the fact that we do not use 'kits' like other companies, we build everything to the size you have available. We can tailor our design to suit your requirements. No two cabins are the same. Everything is bespoke.
Can your cabins be 'stuck to the back of the house' to become an extension?
Yes. As we mentioned earlier, our buildings are not 'pre-made kits', so about 50% of our customers get their cabin built on as an extension, and we completely tailor make the design to accommodate this. A point to note is that where possible, we build the extension, and leave the 'knock through' to the main house till the end, so unlike some other companies, you don't have a 'gaping hole in the wall for weeks'! If you look through our walk through videos on our video gallery, you might spot where we were able to do this.
How long do your buildings take to build?
We use all of our own tradesmen, so unlike other companies, there is 'no waiting for the electrician' or 'the tiler is gone on holidays'. All of our tradesmen are employed by our company. This means our average build time is 6 to 8 weeks from scratch.
Are you Guaranteed Irish?
Yes indeed we are. We are privileged to have met the standards and criteria to have been awarded Guaranteed Irish accreditation and will strive to keep it.
Do you do a finance package?
Irish Wood Style are not a finance company, and don't provide any finance facilities ourselves, but a company that has helped many people afford their living cabin is EasyFinance.ie
